CIPD Qualifications
CIPD qualifications are available at three levels At each level you can work towards awards, certificates and diplomas.
CIPD Advanced - Level 7 in Human Resources Management (HRM) and Human Resources Development (HRD). These qualifications replace the Professional Develoopment Scheme (PDS)
CIPD Intermediate - Level 5 in Human Resources Management (HRM) and Human Resources Development (HRD). This is a totally new area.
CIPD Foundation - Level 3 in Human Resources Practice (HR Practice) and Learning and Development Practice (LD Practice). These qualifications replace the Certificate in Personnel Practice and the Certificate in Training Practice.
Part qualified? are you wondering how best to progress now? Many Human Resources professionals believe that CIPD Chartered Membership gives them an edge in the employment market and nearly all our past candidates who achieved this strongly believe that Chartered Fellowship is the goal.

Which one of these describes your situation?
- Studied for the CIPD Professional Development Scheme (PDS) but you either still need to complete a field or you have failed an exam
- Your existing CIPD PAC centre is no longer supporting you
- You have an NVQ in Management or Personnel or Training & Development or Learning & Development at Level 5 - this gave you Licentiate Membership but this no longer exists and you are now an Associate Member.
